Sumber : How to Create and Manage WordPress User Roles (hostinger.co.id)

  • As soon as you select the WordPress user role for the new user and submit their credentials, then you should remember that the new user will receive an email containing their username and password – so they can directly log in to your website.
  • In general, the most widely used roles for users who only write on your blog are Author and Contributor. Choose one of the two roles so that your new users can publish blog content by themselves, or if you want to revisit it and then publish it.
  • Roles can be changed at any time by the Administrator – just by editing the user’s profile.
  • No role for this site is used when you don’t want users to access even do anything on your website. However, at the same time, you want their account to remain.
  • If you’re running Multisite (a network of WordPress sites), then you’ll also get the Super Admin role. With this, users can manage your entire website network and perform Administrator tasks, such as updating WordPress, managing themes, users, and plugins.
